The best hotel we have stayed in by far, every detail is so well thought out. We were greeted by super friendly staff and a welcome cocktail. Maids come in twice a day to prepare your room for the day / evening and leave a chocolate on the bed. Both breakfast and dinner was delicious, with great views of the sea and the sound of crashing waves. When you’re sunbathing they come round with free bottles of water in and ice bucket and the cabanas even have fans. Alain was a fantastic waiter who ensured we had everything we could possibly want. Activities are great, free yoga and meditation everyday, DJ sunset sessions and live music. Even had an outdoor cinema set up one evening. Hotel is relaxing and exclusive, set out from the centre but a short 15-20 min walk.

You cant pick a better place to stay while visiting Puerto Escondido. Everything about this place is top notch. From the moment you step into the hotel, you notice the little details through the architecture and ambience. Alain really makes the experience. He is such an attentive and warm person that really made my experience five stars. His whole vibe is contagious and really went above and beyond.

This place exceeded our expectations. Their facilities are as beautiful as it can get. The most magical place to watch the sunset from! Starting from the service, their staff was friendly, genuine and respectful. Made us feel like at home. The food was unreal, the ambiance, live music was exceptional. Our best experience in Mexico so far. We couldn’t recommend it more!

We really wanted to love this place – and on first arrival, it seems great. The fresh coconuts and cold towels were appreciated, and the hotel and restaurant are beautiful. Unfortunately, this is not a five-star experience in any way. The curtains in the rooms are thin linen that let a huge amount of light through at night as there are pool, garden, and room lights directly outside. There are also windows above the bed with no curtains. We suggested doubling up the linen curtains and after asking several times, this was done. We then had to hang blankets over the top and stack pillows to properly block out light. Noise was another major issue during our stay. The rooms are not very soundproof and the staff are not very considerate of this (loudly talking in hallways, yelling and joking with each other across the restaurant area etc). The hotel was also refinishing tables during our stay and decided to use an electric sander and drill directly next to the sun loungers (they did stop when asked, but it isn't a great experience). There was also a party directly next to the hotel playing incredibly loud music for most of the afternoon and into the evening, drowning out the music from the hotel DJ and making it impossible to use the outside area. And a minor thing (but added to the general experience) – trays of food when we ordered room service for lunch were left outside the door until the following mid-morning when I had to call someone to get them taken away. Overall, this was not a great experience and definitely not the five-star experience they claim to be or worth the price they are charging.

This place is simply amazing. We walked passed it and the staff greeted us and welcomed us on their fantastic, pristine beach club part of the hotel, which is breathtaking. We enjoyed drinks and dinner with the sun setting and then the brought out live music. Must go for all people that want to escape the busy party scene of Puerto and just enjoy the paradise side of this village. Please ask in the staff for Freddy as he was our waiter and he was very helpful and an absolute legend. Highly recommended!

Stayed 4days here, Quite the Gem it has been open 2yrs. The staff go above & beyond for you. We had a great server named Simon. Great atmosphere, I have nothing bad to say about this place. Very quiet, and they have lots of food options. They do have a security team, which is very nice and a cute nice dog named Rocky. Great happy hour & live shows every night 7-9pm. Blues etc. Very elegant night scene for dinner. Cleaning maids come 2x a day, so your bed is spruced up a nice way of coming to bed after a long outing. Lastly I do like the gesture of brushing the sand so it's easier to walk on but also very presentable.

WOW WOW WOW! I'm not sure if my words will do Casa Joseph justice, but I'll try. From the moment we walked into Casa Joseph for our engagement holiday, we were treated like royalty. The staff knew our names right away, greeted us with a cold coconut, handed us towels, and then gave us a tour of the stunning beachfront resort. When we arrived in our room, a bottle of champagne on ice awaited us. The service, location, staff, and overall experience were first-class. We were absolutely delighted to spend our engagement celebration at Casa Joseph and will definitely be back.
